Fortune Link

There is an article on this. And I have already confirmed that a Fortune Link does not work on a Game Boy Advance. I own both games, as well as two GBAs. I have also borrowed copies of both games to see if linking to the to the same game works, but it does not. Fortune Link only works on a GBC.--Matt 18:54, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Ah, sorry. I realized someone finally made a Fortune Link page after I was going to redirect that once-dead link here. I never tried it on GBA, but it works with other games, so I just assumed. Are you sure you can't do it with the same game though? Nintendo Power's guide implies you can... Guess I'll take your word for it, as the guide has been proved wrong once before.

But...Since Fortune Link and Vasu are both simple topics, and Fortune Linking only deals with Vasu and Appraising, perhaps a merge would be in order anyway? --Guy ^(T|C) 19:00, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes a merge would be a good thing to do.
I tried to link OoA with OoA, OoS with OoS, and OoA with OoS. I tried with many copies of the games on several different GBA units. Not a single one worked.--Matt 19:06, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Great! This article looks much better than earlier today. The Vasu article seems to be a better place for the Fortune Link than the misc category.--Matt 19:26, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

I think that there is only one ring that Fortune Link can give you that you can't get from Maple or a Gasha Nut. I can't remember it though. And I think that it is that way in just one of the games, not both.--Matt 20:04, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
