Rune is an elf who has only appeared in the original The Legend of Zelda manga by Yuu Mishouzaki.[name reference needed]
Biography[]
He had an affair with Princess Zelda, despite the animosity between Elves and Hylians. This affair resulted in Zelda becoming pregnant with Link.
Rune perished after being mortally wounded by one of Ganon's Demons. Before his death, he passes his sword on to someone who he thought could bring it to his son, who he had never met.
