A new Rune distillation
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Runes are special objects controlled by the Sheikah Slate that can affect the world around Link. Runes are primarily obtained from the Ancient Shrines scattered across Hyrule Kingdom. To obtain a Rune, Link must insert the Sheikah Slate into a pedestal to extract them. Upon extraction, Link can access that Rune's abilities by pressing the L Button and selecting the Rune.
