Hyrule Compendium Entry
Royal Claymores are part of the Royal Gear series. Royal Claymores are two-handed Weapons intended to be wielded by the Hylian Royal Family. They have a base attack damage of 52. Royal Claymores are scattered throughout Hyrule. They can be found on the necklaces of Hinoxes once the player is late in the game. Stalnox can also drop Royal Claymores when they are defeated, especially the one within the lockup of Hyrule Castle. Other high-tier enemies, such as Silver Moblins, may also use them.
Royal Claymores can also be found in the overworld of Hyrule. They can be found in these locations:
- Woodland Tower
- Nero Hill
- Hyrule Castle
- Various Ancient Shrines
- Coliseum Ruins (If only three(3) Divine Beasts have been completed)
If a Royal Claymore is equipped during a thunderstorm, it will attract Lightning due to being made of metal. They can also be picked up using the Magnesis Rune on the Sheikah Slate, and they will sink in water.
