The dungeon is set inside the body of Lord Jabu-Jabu, who spends every day on Zora's Fountain. To enter, Link must drop a fish from his bottle in front of Jabu-Jabu, causing him to open his mouth and suck both the fish and Link inside. While inside, Link must initially avoid the vast variety of parasitic enemies, including an especially large tentacle-like organism with electrified appendages in the shape of unstable pillars and jellyfish-like creatures called Bari,<ref>{{cite|Lord Jabu-Jabu is very strange today... ==Master Quest==

The dungeon has many strange changes in the MQ version of the game. Instead of uvula-like switches on the ceilings of Jabu Jabu's intestinal tract, now cow head switches that are attached to walls operate the opening of doors. As far as enemies go, Lizalfos and Like Likes were added to several rooms, the Parasitic Tentacles were dispersed evenly and in larger quantities throughout Jabu Jabu's insides, and invisible Keese were supplied to one room that includes an extra Gold Skulltula. Only three Tailpasarans appear in an optional room with a Gold Skulltula, and Business Scrubs were deleted from the Master Quest version. In terms of items, the Dungeon Map, Compass, and Boomerang can be obtained much earlier; the room that contained the Boomerang in the original version now contains the Compass, and vice versa. Other changes include the placement of a grown cow in a room, the addition of a water pillar in the suckhole room, and the presence of Bombchus, used to complete various new puzzles throughout the dungeon. Princess Ruto is utilized much less as a gameplay mechanic, as she is only required to hit only one switch.

Why is Epona in the People category as well as the animal category? Horses aren't people. -- Defunctzombie 16:10, 14 September 2010 (EDT)
*Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly may have been inspired by the dungeon Catfish's Maw from LA. Both lie in an enclosed body of water and involve entering the mouth of a giant fish (though the catfish is not actually real).

  +
:That's because of the infobox. Jeangabin 16:19, 14 September 2010 (EDT)
*Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly is the first dungeon in OoT to have a unique dungeon theme, as the themes pertaining to the Deku Tree and Dodongo's Cavern are both used elsewhere, like in grottos and the Royal Tomb respectively.

*Link cannot get the Zora's Sapphire on his own from the room where he fights the Big Octo. He must throw Ruto into the platform to get it.

*In the first room after fighting the Big Octo, there is a ramp to the right. If the player changes the camera angle so that it goes through the wall for a few seconds, a Hookshot target can be seen.fact

*This is the only dungeon in the game where Link is accompanied by another character (Princess Ruto) when he is warping to the dungeon's exit after defeating a boss.

*A remixed version of the dungeon's theme was used in TWW as Jabun's theme.

*In OOT3D, the dungeon can be accessed as an adult using a glitch. Link must approach the ice slope that replaces Jabu-Jabu and walk along its left edge. If done correctly, Link will walk inside the dungeon.

Is it actully confirmed that the Horse we've seen is Epona? Based on some of the footage I'd wager it's just a wild horse you can find. Not only should its design have given that away, but we now know, thanks to the game's E3 2016 trailer, that Link will have the ability to tame and ride any horse he happens to find in the wild. The only reason Miyamoto referred to the horse as Epona is because he wasn't very involved in the game's development and naturally assumed the horse must've been Epona. Similarly, he could've seen a fairy and said something like "Hey, it's Navi!", because he wouldnt've known otherwise. It's just a random horse. I was hoping most people would've been able to tell, since it was pretty obvious. Aonuma even later confirmed that the closest thing Link would have to a true companion is the optional Wolf Link amiibo. Also, while the new Amiibo for BotW are referred to as "Archer Link" and "Guardian", named after the actual named figures, whereas the one with Link on a horse is called "Rider Link", not "Link and Epona", because Link can ride any random horse in this game. :::You're forgetting the fact that in recent footage they have purposely excluded elements from the story, that's why we haven't heard of many characters, and this may include Epona herself. In OoT you can also ride other horses, but you later obtain Epona to call her whenever you need her, so this could also be the case in here, especially since Link can be seen using most of the time the same horse in trailers, artwork, and even the amiibo. And talking about the amiibo, they also said that they are still prototypes, so those might not be their final names, especially since Link can also be seen using the new type of Arrow in the archer one and the name is not making any reference to it. 17:49, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

- Oot's scenario was very different; you couldn't own any horse aside from Epona, and you could only use them inside the Ranch, where they sole purpose was only to allow them play to learn how to ride for when they unlocked Epona.
