The Roc's Feather is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series.[2]

"This legendary treasure has been handed down from olden times on Koholint Island. The magical Feather makes the bearer's body much lighter and allows him to jump very high. The jumping ability bestowed by the Feather is useful for avoiding enemy attacks or jumping over pits."

In Link's Awakening, the Roc's Feather is found inside the Tail Cave.[1] Link can combine it with the Pegasus Boots to jump over multiple pits at once.[4]

Link needs the Roc's Feather to jump over Rolling Bones' Spiketrap to avoid getting hurt.[5]

Oracle of Seasons

In Oracle of Seasons, the Roc's Feather is found in the Poison Moth's Lair. It is later stolen from Link by the Strange Brothers. To retrieve it, the hero must follow them undetected in order to find its hiding location. Link can combine the Roc's Feather with Pegasus Seeds to jump over multiple adjacent pits.

Oracle of Ages

In Oracle of Ages, the Roc's Feather is found in the Wing Dungeon. Just like in Oracle of Seasons, Link can combine its power with Pegasus Seeds in order to jump over multiple pits at once.

Four Swords Adventures

In Four Swords Adventures, Roc's Feathers can be found in multiple stages. It allows the Links to jump over three pits. If the Links give the Feather to a Great Fairy in order to upgrade it to Level 2, it will give them the ability to jump once more while in midair.
