Rist Peninsula is a location in Breath of the Wild.[citation needed]
Features and Overview[]
Rist Peninsula spans from the Akkala Highlands into the Akkala Sea on the eastern edge of Hyrule Kingdom. It is a spiraled sandbar. If Link places an Ancient Orb in the Stone Sphere Socket in the Pedestal at the center of the peninsula, the Ritaag Zumo Shrine will rise up from the ground.[1]
Tears of the Kingdom[]
It is where the last Dragon Tear is located.

Trivia[]
- The spiral shape of Rist Peninsula bears a strong resemblance to the Spiral Jetty, an earthwork sculpture created by Robert Smithson in 1970. It is unknown if this was intentionally done by Nintendo.
- Rist Peninsula's name may be an anagram of the word stir, as it features a spiral pattern. This is supported by the fact that its Japanese name is an anagram of uzumaki, the word for spirals or whirlpools.
