And the prize for most improved article goes to...<br>

The improvement in this article, even in as little as the last 3 months, is admirable and a credit to the hard work of all who've contributed. It's gone from a stub with an article about Gorons in TP sandwiched in the middle, to a well-rounded article which meets all of the above criteria. A fine example of what we can all achieve! {{:User:Adam/sig}} 20:00, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

#<s>One or two more references couldn't hurt this article, but</s> I have to agree with Adam on this article. Each and every section of this article is very detailed and lengthy. Now to fix the Zora article... --[[User:Yuvorias|Felicia&#39;s Champion]] 23:06, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

In Majora's Mask, Ikana Graveyard is located to the north of the main road between Clock Town and the kingdom of Ikana.

Overview

Ikanagraveyard2

Captain Keeta's remains

The Ikana Graveyard is the resting place of the majority of the fallen family members of the King of Ikana Castle[1], and as such, Link can find some Stalchildren wandering around at night, who are the loyal undead soldiers of the Ikana Kingdom.[2] The gravedigger, Dampé, can be found here as well after first making an appearance in Ocarina of Time. In this incarnation, Dampé is quite timid, but can still be quite helpful.

At the end of the graveyard lies the sleeping Captain Keeta. Near his skeletal remains is a sign which states that anyone who awakens him is to battle him in order to extinguish the flames surrounding the treasure chest above him.[3] After Link plays the Sonata of Awakening, Captain Keeta rises from his sleep, challenging Link to a race. The young hero follows him and promptly defeats him, which grants him Skull Keeta's respect along with the Captain's Hat.[4] The Captain's Hat, which houses Skull Keeta's soul, allows Link to talk to the Stalchildren that appear at the graveyard every night. Talking to them while wearing the Captain's Hat allows Link to open the gravesites that the undead soldiers are guarding.[5]

The Graves

Ikana Graveyard

The Stalchildren opening a grave

The grave being patrolled on the night of the First Day is the only necessary one to open. After Link asks them to open the grave, the Stalchildren all promptly follow his instructions and reveal an entrance to beneath the graveyard, thinking he is Captain Keeta himself. Within the grave, Link must battle an Iron Knuckle in order to make Flat, one of the Composer Brothers, appear. Flat reveals the inscription for the Song of Storms, and asks that Link cleanse the soul of his cursed brother, Sharp, using the melody he has just learned.[6]

On the night of the Second Day, the Stalchildren will be guarding a different grave. Asking them to open it reveals another section beneath the graveyard. This area contains many hidden enemies and traps that Link must uncover using the Lens of Truth. At the end of the grave lies another Iron Knuckle that, once defeated, yields a Piece of Heart.

The grave of the night of the Final Day has Dampe inside it, who claims that he is searching for the Royal Family's treasure; however, his torch has gone out, and asks Link that he guides him using his fairy.[7] Eventually, the young hero and the gravekeeper uncover three blue flames in different digging spots around the area; unfortunately, these flames turn out to be a Big Poe. Once Link defeats the ghost, a treasure chest will appear containing an empty bottle.
