Richard is a character in Ocarina of Time.[2]
Biography[]
Richard is the pet dog of a Mamamu Yan. At night when Link is a child, Richard will run away, causing Pooch Lady to beg Link to look for him.[3] If Link succeeds in returning Richard home, the woman will reward him with a Piece of Heart the first time he accomplishes this and a Blue Rupee all subsequent times.[2]
At some point during Link's seven year absence, Richard passed away. He is remembered fondly by her owner, who tells Link that Talon reminds her of Richard before mentioning what a famous dog he used to be.[1]
