Revali, the Rito Warrior is the third Scenario in Chapter 2 of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview[]

The section first begins with two Rito soldiers spotting Link and the Diminutive Guardian (Zelda is not with them as Link decided to check the area for any monsters), who were with Zelda to ask Revali to control Divine Beast Vah Medoh. The Rito soldiers then report to Revali that it is a raid, which he then orders the counterstrike and the Rito soldiers start attacking. Revali vows to defend the village he calls home with his life as he takes flight.

After beating some Rito Captains and Rito Archers, Link will meet the boss, Revali. He will mostly perform aerial attacks.

Once Revali reaches 0 HP, a cutscene will occur where Revali will keep flying around Link, trying to attack his back. Then, Revali goes near Link and tries to shoot an arrow at his back, while Link turns and gets ready to slice Revali.

However, Zelda tells them to stop fighting, and Revali lowers his bow, while Link lowers his sword.

Once Zelda tells Revali why they were headed for Rito Village, Revali understands. Revali then tells Zelda that the reason they thought that Link was an intruder was because they had seen a Guardian just like the diminutive Guardian. He then looks at Link, and it is obvious that Revali holds Link as his rival.

Strategy[]

Take out the Archers[]

Once Link defeats the Rito Captains, they will need to defeat the RIto Archers. Note that while going there, the Archers will shoot Bomb Arrows. Link should know when a Bomb Arrow will fall because there is a white circle at the location of the bomb.

Defeat More Enemies

Defeating the enemies should be easy, however, you will need to use the wind drafts. There will places where there is a small hole that lets you paraglide up. If there is no hole, Link should find a boulder with a little wind coming out of it. Break that boulder using Remote Bombs, and go up the wind.

Defeat Revali

Revali will be performing a lot of aerial attacks. When he gets ready to shoot his three arrows, try to keep dodging or keep running to avoid them. If he has wind swirling around him, try to get far away as he will slam to the ground and damage anyone in his radius.

Once he gets to half health, he will fly higher into the air to perform aerial attacks, and unleash more powerful attacks. You will also start seeing a red target on the character. He is performing to shoot a large amount of bomb arrows. Although your first reaction may be to run, the red target will still target the character. Instead, look at Revali, where there should be a Sheikah Slate icon. Quickly use the right Sheikah rune to stop the attack.
