- "A very energetic cricket. Cook it with monster parts to create a stamina-boosting elixir."
- — In-game description
Restless Crickets are items from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Link can obtained them by capturing crickets on the Great Plateau. Link can cook with them with Monster Parts or Ancient Materials to create Energizing Elixirs though cooking them alone or with other ingredients will result in Dubious Food. Restless Crickets can be found usually in the long grasses of the Great Plateau, Hyrule Field and East Necluda regions, by using a sharp edged weapon to cut long grass away where crickets sometimes rest beneath. They can sometimes be found under rocks even in odd locations such as Goron City.
The "Energizing" effect Restless Crickets impart to Energizing Elixirs is inferior to Energetic Rhino Beetles. However Restless Crickets are far more common and easier to catch.
Manny wants to catch the attention of his crush Prima who runs The Great Ton Pu Inn. Pretending he's asking for a friend, he asks Link to find out what Prima likes. Link must talk to Prima behind the counter and ask her what she likes though Prima annoyed by the question and unsure why Link is asking decides to tell him something random and says she likes Restless Crickets even lying and saying its her dream to have a collection of 100 of them. Link returns with this false information provided by Prima to Manny who notes collecting 100 will be hard and decides to start with ten which he requests Link obtain. After giving 10 crickets to Manny he rewards Link with a Silver Rupee as payment for his work. Unbeknownst to Manny, Prima has no real interest in Restless Crickets.
