The Rented Sand Rod is an Item in A Link Between Worlds.[1]
Location and Uses[]
The Rented Sand Rod is used to create pillars of Sand on top of already sandy ground. Those blocks may be utilized by Link by Wall Merging across them. The Rented Sand Rod is not available until Osfala has been freed from Thieves' Town and Sheerow has collected the Rod. After that, it is rentable from Ravio's Shop for fifty Rupees.
Being a rented Item, the Rented Sand Rod will be returned to Ravio by Sheerow if Link falls in battle. It may be permanently obtained as the Sand Rod for 800 Rupees, and further upgraded into the Nice Sand Rod by Mother Maiamai.
