- "Your Kokiri Sword has been strengthened and forged into a Razor Sword! This new, sharper blade is a cut above the rest. Use it up to 100 times without dulling its superior edge!"
- — In-game description
The Razor Sword is a sword from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. This sword can be obtained by having Zubora and Gabora, the smiths of the Mountain Village, re-forge Link's Kokiri Sword for 100 Rupees. It is twice as powerful as the Kokiri Sword and has a considerably longer reach, but once Link strikes with it a total of one hundred times, the edge becomes dull and useless, and the sword reverts back into the Kokiri Sword. The sword will also revert back into the Kokiri Sword if Link travels back in time.
The Razor Sword can be further forged into the Gilded Sword, which never loses its edge, by providing the smiths with Gold Dust won from the Goron Races. This can only be done on the Second Day; the Kokiri Sword has to be forged into the Razor Sword on the First Day, and since the forging process takes until the morning of the next day, it cannot be done on the Final Day.
Interestingly, much of the artwork and promotional art for Majora's Mask shows Link wielding the Razor Sword. Because of its limited usage and easy replacement, players are likely to use this sword the least of the three swords found in the game, bringing up the question why an easily ignored sword is featured so prominently in the artwork. It is possible that the frequency of its appearance in official artwork is due to its unique appearance.
In Soulcalibur II, this weapon is available for 600 gold in Chapter 1. It is the first weapon that can be purchased in Weapon Master Mode. It possesses a very sharp edge with a higher attack power than the Master Sword, but it is shorter than it. The Razor Sword may cause Link to take damage even if he is guarding, as the metal the sword is made from "is prone to chipping."
The Razor Sword appears as four badges (Razor Sword I, Razor Sword II, Razor Sword III, and Razor Sword IV) for Link that can be crafted at the Bazaar's Badge Market. Each one adds a new combo attack for Link's Horse moveset.
