Upon death, Raw Bird Thighs can be dropped by Rainbow Pigeons, Hotfeather Pigeons, White Pigeons, Islander Hawks, and Eldin Ostriches. The travelling merchant Mezer sells Raw Bird Thighs near Dueling Peaks Stable. When eaten, Raw Bird Thighs will heal Link for one and a half Hearts. Raw Bird Thighs can be grilled by a Fire for Roasted Bird Thighs and chilled with Ice to create Frozen Bird Thighs.
Raw Bird Thighs are required to make Prime Poultry Curry and Prime Poultry Pilaf. Either Raw Bird Thighs or Raw Prime Meat is needed to make Prime Meat Stew, Prime Meat and Rice Bowl, Salt-Grilled Prime Meat, and Prime Meat and Seafood Fry. As is the case with all types of meat, they can also be used to make Creamy Meat Soup, Glazed Meat, a Meat and Mushroom Skewer, Meat Pie, a Meat Skewer, Copious Meat Skewers, Meaty Rice Balls, Monster Stew, Pepper Steak, Steamed Meat, and a Meat-Stuffed Pumpkin.
