Racing games are a type of minigame where Link either participates with the goal of getting in first place (if there are one or more rival contestants), or simply follows a character or a designated route through a course.

Four Swords Adventures[]
In Four Swords Adventures, a race is held by two children in the Village of the Blue Maiden, in the Dark World. The four Links have twenty seconds to reach a goal in order to obtain the Pegasus Boots. With Bombs, the Links can reach the end in less than three seconds.
