Keese?

Could the creature at [1] 0:10 possibly be some kind of Keese? Sun Braid 16:09, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Quite probably, yes. Since the page lists Keese as appearing in FSA but has no section for the game, someone should probably add the section with some info and a screenshot from that video. User:Adam/sig 12:40, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Ache and Acheman

Just kidding. At least the official artwork image from the Ache page should go into the Keese article.User:Cipriano 119/sig 20:36, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

This is another one of those very similar enemy types I was talking about, when we discussed the Octoroks as a race. They in all likeliness should be removed, but a template/ large family class/ crossreferencing should be used among them all. User:Axiomist/sig 03:01, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

The name "Keese"

I've been curious about the origin of the name "Keese." The creatures obviously look like bats. There is no doubt about it. But in manuals I have had, it strictly calls them "Keese" and never "bats."

Is Keese the word for bat in some language? Colorknit 00:59, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps, but like many of the Nintendo game franchises, they like to coin terms for different enemies, even if the name doesn't seem to have any relation to its real-world counterpart. For example, the Stalfos look like skeletons, but the actual name has no relation to skeletons, unlike Octorok in which the name is completely relevant, as this enemy resembles the octopus. Keese in skyward sword ?

there is a lack of info and pictures to support the fact that keese will be in the latest zelda game The Legend of Zelda : The Skyward Sword, until proof can be given that keese will indeed be in the game I'm removing mention of them as a confirmed enemy. --Roxas2080 20:00, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

See here and here. They were also shown in the E3 trailer and demo, if I'm not mistaken, so yes, they're more than confirmed to be enemies in SS. Dany36 20:08, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Ok I see now and i'm sorry for not doing deep enough research before making such changes Roxas2080 23:56, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Dark Keese

I recently went through the part of the game where I had to escort Scrapper and the Water Basin up the volcano, and ran into this Keese variation not yet mentioned on the article. I found these Dark Keese on the left-side branch from the Volcano Ascent Bird Statue; like the Cursed Keese already on this article (which I haven't yet run into; I've only gotten as far as the Fire Sanctuary entrance at this time), I fell to the jinx condition once (purposefully, while on a French name run) and one even dropped an Evil Crystal. Is it possible to do some deeper research into Dark Keese? Thanks. --Shiningpikablu252 17:35, 11 January 2012 (EST)

They're the same thing Cursed Keese is the anme. XXSuperXXNintendoXx 17:37, 11 January 2012 (EST)

Fi's comment would like to talk to you. (USA copy, English-language setting is where I ran into it.) That's how I ran into the name "Dark Keese" to begin with...--Shiningpikablu252 17:39, 11 January 2012 (EST)

Cursed Keese jinx Link, and drop Evil Crystals it would be stupid to have 2 keese with nearly-identical names and the same behaivior. XXSuperXXNintendoXx 17:45, 11 January 2012 (EST)
