Pumpkin Soup is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name reference needed]
Location and Uses[]
Skyward Sword[]
Pumpkin Soup is sold at the Lumpy Pumpkin and is known all across The Sky for its ability to restore Hearts.[2] However, the soup will become cold if not consumed within five minutes after purchasing it, which decreases its healing capabilities. It will restore eight Hearts when hot and four Hearts when cold.
One of Link's tasks requested by Pumm is to deliver a sample of hot Pumpkin Soup to Eagus. Later on, when Link needs to find the location of the Triforce, he is told to ask Levias for help. Owlan tells Link that Pumm makes a yearly offering of Pumpkin Soup to Levias, but due to the Thunderhead, he was unable to do so the current year. Once Link tells Pumm everything, he proceeds to cook a massive batch of Pumpkin Soup so large that Scrapper is required to transport it inside the Thunderhead.
Other Appearances[]
Hyrule Warriors[]
In Hyrule Warriors, during the "Land in the Sky" scenario, Link must assist Fi in transporting a batch of Pumpkin Soup in order to gain assistance from Levias. During this instance, Levias pushes a small floating island to make a bridge, allowing allied Forces to advance into enemy territory. The Pumpkin Soup is also used after the Great Fairy is called, sending Fairies to give Levias another serving of the soup. Levias, rejuvenated by the soup, then attacks Volga and severely weakens him.
In Hyrule Warriors Legends, Pumpkin Soup appears as a Drink-type Food. It is imbued with the Fire Element. When consumed by a Companion Fairy in the Dining Room of the My Fairy mode, Pumpkin Soup can increase the Fairy's Trust level and personality traits.
