Princess Peach, also known as Princess Toadstool, is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. She seems to have some sort of a romantic relationship with Mario. He is constantly rescuing her from Bowser, who often kidnaps her due to the fact that he is in love with Peach, as revealed in Paper Mario. She is heavily watched by Toadsworth, who takes care of her. She has many interests, which include sports and partying.
In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, a post card by Christine depicts her as Princess Peach.

Peach appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee as a default character. She returns in its sequel, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Her special moves include "Toad", "Peach Bomber", "Peach Parasol", and "Vegetable". In "The Subspace Emissary", Peach begins her story alongside Princess Zelda, who is her friend, at the Midair Stadium when disaster strikes. The player can choose between either her and Zelda, deciding who the characters will be able to play as and how the story progresses for each of them.
