Pieces of the Key,(SS)[1][2] also known as Key Shards,(TP)[1] are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.
Location and Uses[]
Twilight Princess[]
The Goron Elders Gor Amoto, Gor Ebizo, and Gor Liggs each give Link one of the three Key Shards after talking with him. When combined, they form the Big Key for the Goron Mines.
Skyward Sword[]
The five Pieces of the Key are found buried around Eldin Volcano, and are found via Dowsing. Together they are used to open the door to the Earth Temple.
