During the night of the invasion on Ordon Village, the villagers plan on using the Ordon Shield and the Ordon Sword that Rusl crafted to fend off the Enemies. To meet Princess Midna's demands, Wolf Link enters Jaggle and Pergie's house from the roof and steal the Ordon Shield from the wall of his Storage Loft. Since this Ordon Shield is made out of wood, it can catch on Fire. If this happens and the Fires are not put out in time, Link will be permanently unable to obtain another one. If the Ordon Shield is destroyed, a visually different, yet functionally identical Wooden Shield can be bought from the Shops at Kakariko Village or Death Mountain as a replacement. Arrows fired from Bulblin Archer will get stuck in the Ordon Shield when it is used to block them and can be collected by Link when he puts the Ordon Shield away.

Non-Canon Appearances[]

In Hyrule Warriors, the Ordon Shield appears as a Costume in the form of a mask for Princess Midna in the Majora's Mask DLC Pack.
