The Noble Pursuit is a recurring item and object in The Legend of Zelda series. It appears in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity as a cocktail, and in Tears of the Kingdom as a cocktail and fruit juice. [1][2]
Mainline appearances[]
Breath of the Wild[]
The Noble Pursuit is a featured cocktail at The Noble Canteen that many customers seek out.[1] Furosa, the owner of The Noble Canteen, describes it as having a light, sweet taste and providing a cooling sensation.[3] It is made using ice from the Northern Icehouse, and so is refreshing.[4] However, Furosa considers Link too young for her shop and refuses to sell to him.[5]
After completing the "Divine Beast Vah Naboris" Main Quest, Link can find Pokki collapsed outside the Misae Suma Shrine.[6] She laments that, if she is to die here, she was unable to have one more sip of a Noble Pursuit.[7] This begins the Shrine Quest "The Perfect Drink".
Back in Gerudo Town, Link can ask Furosa for a Noble Pursuit.[8] Not only has The Noble Canteen run out of Ice,[9] Furosa also refuses to sell the drink to Link due to its strength.[10] When Link explains that the Noble Pursuit is for Pokki,[11] Furosa reveals that she can't retrieve the Ice herself since her legs are not in shape.[12] Link offers to get the Ice for her, which relieves Furosa.[13] Furosa offers to meet him at the entrance of the ruins between the Icehouse and Gerudo Town.[14]
Once Furosa receives her Ice, she proclaims that she will be able to make the ultimate Noble Pursuit.[15] She asks Link to pass a message along to Pokki that the best Noble Pursuit ever is waiting for her.[16] She believes that when Pokki hears this, she will come running.[17]
At Misae Suma Shrine, Link can inform Pokki of the Noble Pursuit that Furosa has prepared for her.[18] When she finds out it is supposedly the "best Noble Pursuit ever", she immediately takes off for Gerudo Town.[19] This completes the Shrine Quest.
Tears of the Kingdom[]
The Noble Pursuit is an adult beverage at the bar in the Gerudo Shelter. Normally, Furosa would have considered Link too young to get his hands on a Noble Pursuit. But, Furosa mentions a special version that is actually a fruit juice instead, but she doesnt have the ingredients necessary to make it. When Palm Fruit, Hydromelon, Voltfruit, and Rock Salt are cooked together, Link gets a Noble Pursuit.
Spinoff appearances[]
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity[]
Noble Pursuit boosts the warrior's damage by 7% and is made using three Palm Fruits, three Hydromelons, three Voltfruits, and three Rock Salts.
