Nintendo Official Guidebook—The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Vol. 1, along with Vol. 2, is Nintendo's guidebook for the Japanese version of A Link to the Past. It was published under Shogakukan's Wonder Life Special label. There are two volumes in total.

The walkthrough covers from the beginning of the game up till Swamp Palace. Contains: a fold-out map, a chart detailing weapon effectiveness on eneimes, detailed maps, a list of items, a list of characters, a list of enemies, an interview with the development team, and a section about the making of the TV advertisement. The guidebook is filled with both illustrations and real-life photoes.
