Needle Storm is a recurring ability of Sheik's in the Super Smash Bros. series. It first appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee, followed by Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Overview[]
When using the move, Sheik can charge it to get up to six needles, and the player can release the B button to have her throw all of the needles, each inflicting little damage to whomever they hit. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Needle Storm is charged by pressing the B button, and the player can attack by pressing the button again.
Exclusively in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Needle Storm has two variations: Penetrating Needles, in which three three needles are thrown, capable of going through them and inflicting electric damage, and Paralyzing Needles, in which Sheik immediately throws a needle that can stun whomever it hits.
