Biography[]
Nazbi is a Hylian who travels the Hilltop High Road between Snowfield Stable and Tabantha Bridge Stable with his Horse, Dauntless.[3] The pair stop at Serenne Stable along their journey. Nazbi carries a Fisherman's Shield and a Traveler's Sword.
Nazbi is a treasure hunter and adventurer.[4][5] His purpose in tracing the Hilltop High Road is to search of the Dragon's Road, which is said to be near the Tanagar Canyon.[6][7][8][9] Since the Hilltop High Road is long and winds like a Dragon, Nazbi wonders if it could be the Dragon's Road.[10][11] As he travels, he often wonders about the Road aloud to himself.[12][13][14] Even though he may encounter danger, Nazbi is determined to find the Dragon's Road.[15][16]
Nazbi pledges to continue his search for Dragon's Road as long as Dauntless is strong.[17] He thanks Dauntless for this, declaring that they are equal partners.[18]
In addition to the mystery of Dragon's Road, Nazbi wants to solve the riddle pertaining to Rito Village, which is supposed to be west of the snow fields.[19] However, considering how long his bucket list is, he does not think he will be able to get to it.[20][21]
Despite being an adventurer, Nazbi has difficulty coping with cold Temperatures.[22] He attempts to work himself in order to keep warm, but this strategy has little success.[23] He will still encourage Dauntless to face the cold.[24] When he stops at Snowfield Stable, Nazbi is unable to stop his teeth from chattering due to the cold.[25]
When he is caught in the Rain, Nazbi will be disappointed.[26] After finding shelter, he wonders when the Rain will end.[27]
Nazbi will occasionally share knowledge of the area with Link. For example, he has heard of a "forest where the master lives" south of Serenne Stable.[28][29] He is also interested in the Footrace in Upland Lindor, and he suggests that Link try it out.[30][31] Nazbi initially claims that he is too busy adventuring to try it himself, he will then admit he has become reliant on Dauntless for transportation.[32]
