The Misae Suma Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Misae Suma's Blessing,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Misae Suma Shrine is found in the East Barrens of the Gerudo Desert. Link initially finds Pokki leaning on the Sheikah Slate Terminal outside of the Ancient Shrine. She's dehydrated and convinced she's going to die without one last taste of a Noble Pursuit.[2] This activates the Shrine Quest "The Perfect Drink".

When Link asks Furosa at The Noble Canteen for a Noble Pursuit for Pokki, she reveals that she can't retrieve the Ice from the Northern Icehouse herself.[3] Link offers to get the Ice for her, which she'll accept.[4] She tells Link that one he explains the situation to the manager, Anche, she'll let him take some Ice.[5] Furosa then says Link only needs to bring the Ice to the entrance to the ruins, at which point she'll take it to Gerudo Town.[6]

At the Northern Icehouse, Anche allows Link to take some Ice for Furosa.[7] She reminds him to move quickly so that it doesn't melt.[8] This begins the Ice Delivery Mini-Game.

Once Link has completed the Mini-Game and brought the Ice to Furosa, she says she'll be able to make the ultimate Noble Pursuit.[9] She asks Link to let Pokki know that it's waiting for her, believing she'll come running once she hears about it.[10]

Back at Misae Suma Shrine, Link can tell Pokki about the drink.[11] Suddenly rejuvenated, Pokki runs through the desert, back towards Gerudo Town.

With the Sheikah Slate Terminal cleared, Link is able to enter Misae Suma Shrine. Once inside, he's greeted by its Monk, Misae Suma, who says he's proven himself by entering the Shrine.[12]

Themes and Navigation

The Misae Suma Shrine is one large room with no puzzles or enemies, just a straight path leading to Misae Suma. There is a Treasure Chest in the center of the room containing a Diamond.

As a reward for arriving at the Shrine, Misae Suma grants Link a Spirit Orb.[13] He then wishes Link well before fading away.[14]
