Main appearance(s)

Minish Portals are objects in The Minish Cap.[1]

Location and Uses

Minish Portals can be accessed by Link throughout The Minish Cap. These Portals allow Link, with Ezlo's help, to reduce his size to that of a Minish. The Minish Portals allow Link to access different areas, and after swallowing a Jabber Nut, allows communication with the Minish. Minish Portals can also be used to return Link to normal size. Once Link is of Minish size, he cannot return to normal size without using a Minish Portal.

Rock Portals

Main article: Rock Portal

Rock Portals are found in the mountainous regions of northwestern Hyrule. Two can be found on Mount Crenel's Base and four of them can be found on Mount Crenel itself.

Jar Portals

Jar Portals are found throughout Hyrule Town. To be used, they must be upside down; the Cane of Pacci is sometimes required to flip them over. There are seven of them in total, all of which can be found in Hyrule Town.

Metal Portals

Metal Portals are only found inside Dungeons; they are found in the Cave of Flames, the Fortress of Winds, the Palace of Winds, and Dark Hyrule Castle. They do not appear in Deepwood Shrine or the Temple of Droplets, as Link remains Minish-sized throughout.

Temple of Droplets

The entrance of the Temple of Droplets is a special type of Minish Portal that allows Link to shrink down and enter the Dungeon.
