The Mijah Rokee Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name A Modest Test of Strength,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.
Entrance to the Shrine
Mijah Rokee Shrine is located in Washa's Bluff. It is initially buried underground and requires certain conditions to be met before it rises and becomes accessible. On top of a tall pillar in Washa's Bluff, Link can find Kass singing a legend about the Ancient Shrine. By listening to Kass's song about it, Link will initiate the Shrine Quest "Under a Red Moon".[2] According to Kass's song, the Shrine will only rise if Link stands on the nearby pedestal while wearing no Armor on the night of a Blood Moon. If he does, Mijah Rokee Shrine will rise from underground, allowing entry. As Link enters the Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Mijah Rokee.[3]
Mijah Rokee Shrine features a large primary chamber, from which a Guardian Scout II rises from a pit once Link gets near. In order to complete the Trial, Link must defeat this Guardian Scout. Once it is defeated, a portcullis leading to Mijah Rokee will rise allowing Link to speak to him. He will give Link a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,[4] and will wish Link well before fading away.[5]
A Treasure Chest behind the portcullis contains a Frostblade.
