Mii Gunners are recurring characters in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Biography[]

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U[]

Mii Gunners are one of three types of customizable fighters introduced in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. Their appearances are based on Mii characters created by the player, and are further customized with a variety of unlockable Mii Outfits and Mii Headgear. Mii Gunners are unable to wear the Link Outfit (the only available Mii Outfit based on The Legend of Zelda series), but can wear all available Mii Headgear, including the Link Cap, Majora's Mask, and others.

One of the Mii Gunner's possible Side special moves, the Stealth Burst, functions similarly to Zelda's special move, Din's Fire; the Mii fires a projectile which gains speed and passes through opponents, exploding once the special move button is released (or after a certain length of time). The Mii Gunner's Down smash move has the same unique property as Toon Link's where the forward first hit "pulls" the opponent into the rearward second hit, except that the move is performed with short-range blasts from the Mii's firearm instead of with slashes of the Master Sword.
