Main Characters

Link

Main article: Link

The power of the Triforce sent Link from Hyrule to Holodrum, just in time for him to witness Din's abduction. Now he is on a quest to stop Onox, and rescue Din.

However, if Link has already rescued Nayru, then he will be sent directly from Labrynna.

Din

Main article: Din (Oracle)

The Oracle of Seasons, Din is a talented and famous dancer in the land of Holodrum. She travels with a dance troupe throughout the land as a means of evading General Onox, who intends to imprison her in order to throw the natural order into chaos.

Ganon

Main article: Ganon

The evil which Twinrova strives to return to the light of day. For Ganon to return, the Flames of Destruction, Despair and Sorrow must be lit. He will only appear if Nayru has already been rescued.

Impa

Main article: Impa

Nursemaid to Zelda, Impa has been sent to find Din and smuggle her back to Hyrule Castle, so she can be better protected.

Maku Tree

Main article: Maku Tree (Male)

Since Din's abduction, the guardian of Holodrum has become rather weak. To restore his strength, the Essences of Nature must be recovered.

Onox

Main article: Onox

A dark soul who finds joy in destruction. His goal is to ruin the land of Holodrum by throwing the seasons into chaos.

Princess Zelda

Main article: Princess Zelda

The Princess of Hyrule, Zelda will come if Nayru has already been rescued to do what she can for the people of Holodrum.

Twinrova

Main article: Twinrova

The antagonists that lurk in the shadows. Link will only come face to face with this enemy in battle if he has already rescued Nayru.

Biggoron

A gigantic Goron who lives with the rest of his kind on Goron Mountain. He has quite the cold right now...

Bipin

Bipin is a master arborist, and a peaceful man. He has a son, for whom he currently has no name, and a wife, Blossom. He is apparently fairly poor...

Bipin and Blossom's son

Main article: Bipin and Blossom's son

A boy who will grow to reflect choices Link has made with Blossom.

Blaino

Main article: Blaino

A rounded creature that runs a boxing arena. He is an expert, able to beat even a certain kangaroo.

Blossom

Blossom is a quiet woman, and is married to Bipin. She has a son, for whom she currently has no name. She is apparently fairly poor...

Captain

Dimitri

Dimitri is one of three animal companions that Link meets in his travels. Depending on what Strange Flute Link finds, Dimitri may or may not stay with Link.

Farore

Oracle of Secrets, Farore is not as powerful as Nayru or Din. Her power comes from secrets across the lands of Holodrum and Labrynna. If she is told a certain secret, she can unlock a certain sword...

Flash

Main article: Dog

Flash is a dog in the eastern part of Horon Village, Link can see him fetching a red ball which his master throws away.

Floodgate Keeper

Main article: Floodgate Keeper

The Floodgate Keeper resids in the Spool Swamp, and is usually in possession of the Poison Moth Lair's Floodgate Key. When Link first encounters him, he has unfortunately misplaced the key.

Great Moblin

Main article: Great Moblin

The Great Moblin is a pest to all concerned. His only interest is to cause trouble, and he is currently doing just that. If Nayru has already been rescued, the Great Moblin will be less than pleased to see Link again.

Guru-Guru

Main article: Guru-Guru

A man who is constantly playing his phonograph. He seems to have many spares...

Holly

A girl who resides in Woods of Winter, near the Snake's Remains dungeon. When Link enter her house via the chimney, she confused him for Santa. She then gives Link the Shovel and demands him to clear the snow from her walkway.

Ingo

Main article: Ingo

An easily agitated man who collects vases in Sunken City. He wants Biggoron's Vase, but is unable to obtain it.

Know-It-All Birds

The Know-It-All Birds provide Link with helpful tips about the gameplay.

Malon

Main article: Malon

A young girl who has been left behind to deal with the cuccos she and her father own. She is in over her head, and requires some kind of help.

Maple

Main article: Maple

Apprentice witch to Syrup, Maple's pride and joy is the broom which she can fly around Holodrum. She often bumps into Link.

Master Diver

A man who lives in a cave behind one of the waterfalls which only Dimitri can climb up in Sunken City. In order for Link to become his pupil, he will ask him to get the Master's Plaque; with the reward being the Zora's Flippers. The Master Diver also tells Link bout a shortcut to Mt. Cucco in the waters of Sunken City. His wife also lives in the Sunken City and is the one that told Link about her husband.

Mittens' Old Man

The Old Man at Eyeglass Lake who try to retrieve Mittens, his cat, from a tree. He will give Link his Megaphone in exchange for helping him during the Trading Sequence.

Moosh

Main article: Moosh

Moosh is one of three animal companions that Link meets in his travels. Depending on what Strange Flute Link finds, Moosh may or may not stay with Link.

Mrs. Ruul

Wife of Mayor Ruul, Mrs Ruul lives in her villa north of Horon Village. She has a problem she needs help with...

Nayru

Main article: Nayru (Oracle)

The Oracle of Ages, Nayru can do little from Labrynna. However, she will help Link when the time comes.

Old Men

Main article: Old Man

Old Men appear in caves that Link finds using by using the shovel or burning trees using Ember Seeds. Some bribe Link not to tell anybody about their secret caves by giving him a large sum of approximately 300 Rupees. Others will thank Link, and charge him a large sum of money in order to repair their doors.

Piratians

The Piratians are a group of skeletal pirates who are trapped in Samasa Desert.

Queen Ambi

Main article: Queen Ambi

Queen of Labrynna in a time long past, 400 years ago to be exact. She will only appear if Nayru has been rescued, having asked her to send her on an 'eye-opening journey'.

Rosa

Main article: Rosa

A Subrosian who seems to be one of only two women among her race. In order to continue his quest, it is up to Link to date Rosa.

Ricky

Main article: Ricky

Ricky is one of three animal companions that Link meets in his travels. Depending on what Strange Flute Link finds, Ricky may or may not stay with Link.

Ruul

Mrruul
Main article: Mayor Ruul

The mayor of Holodrum, he has a fascination with Gasha Seeds. He bears resemblance to another mayor, in another land.

Season Spirits

The Season Spirits are four fairy-like beings acting as the source of Seasons and perhaps even the oracle Din's power. Each corner of the Temple of Seasons has a tower with one of the Season Spirits inside; the Winter Tower holds the Winter Spirit, and the setup repeats for the Spring, Summer, and Autumn Towers.

Shopkeeper

Main article: Stockwell

He keeps his prices reasonable, except for when a rare object comes in. The back part of his store is for members only...

Sign-Loving Subrosian

Main article: Sign-Loving Subrosian

A Subrosian who has an obsession with signs and will give Link the Sign Ring once he has broken 100 signs to remind him of not doing it again.

Sokra

Sokra
Main article: Sokra

A prophet, Sokra will point Link in the right direction when it comes to the Temple of Seasons. He usually spends his time either sleeping or playing his gutair.

Strange Brothers

The two Subrosians who trick Link into trading Roc's Feather for Fool's Ore.

Subrosian Chef

Main article: Subrosian Chef

A Subrosian thet gives Link the Lava Soup in exchange for the Iron Pot.

Subrosian Smelter

OOS - Subrosian Smelter
Main article: Subrosian Smelter

A Subrosian who works at the forge, this person will help Link increase the power of his shield. The Smelter is an avid fan of dance, like all Subrosians.

Syrup

Main article: Syrup

A witch that runs a shop in Sunken City. Besides the fact that Maple is her apprentice, not much is known about her. She seems to be a nice person.

Talon

Main article: Talon

Malon's father, Talon has fallen into a deep sleep on his journey. Link must wake him up, but first he must find a way to do just that.

Tick Tock

Main article: Tick Tock

Tick Tock is the Clock Maker in Horon Village. He will trade Link the Engine Grease for a Wooden Bird during the trading sequence.

Troupe of performers

The Hylian Knights disguised as a troupe of performers. Under orders from Princess Zelda, they're sneak Din out of Holodrum into Hyrule.

Vasu

Main article: Vasu

Owner of the local ring shop, Vasu is a huge help to Link on his journey. His clothes indicate he may be from another country...

Manga

Link's Grandfather

An elderly man who wants nothing more than for Link to live up to the legacy he has set, and to become a master swordsman. Despite his tough appearance, he is quite emotional deep down. He lives with his wife on a small farm.

Link's Grandmother

A caring woman who is able to talk Link into actually trying to live up to the legacy his grandfather has set. She lives with her husband on a small farm.

Piyoko

Main article: Piyoko

A small chicken who has been bestowed with mysterious wisdom. She travels with Link across Holodrum, but is eventually killed by Onox. She was ressurected after the death of Onox, but the wisdom she had been bestowed with was gone...
