Gentari is the Elder in Minish Village and though he is old, he is very wise.
When you reach Gentari's house, he will mark on your map where the Four Elements are. He tells Link to return to him at once when he has found the Earth Element. When you find it, Gentari will open some curtains at the side of his room, which leads through a passageway.
