Biography[]
Marta is a Gerudo soldier who can be found in the Barracks of Gerudo Town. She wields a Gerudo Spear.
When Link first enters the Barracks, he will find Marta training with a practice dummy alongside Smaude. If Link speaks to her, she reveals that this training was instigated by Babi, who is watching the two of them.[2] However, since the Yiga Clan thieves were able to slip past her and steal the Thunder Helm, she does not feel like she can complain.[3] After Link receives Teake's permission to learn about the theft from the soldiers, Babi refuses to allow him to speak to Marta and Smaude, claiming they are in the middle of training.[4]
After Link has recovered the Thunder Helm, Marta will be relieved that they can finally take a break.[5] However, she expresses concern that Babi has special training ready for them after they repair their Gerudo Spears.[6] Marta also feels that Babi is working too hard, and she hopes that she never becomes as intense as her.[7]

- Marta is one of several characters that will hit Link back if he attacks them with a Weapon.[8][9][10] These attacks deal no damage.
