Description
This Lynel-made sword was designed with smashing in mind rather than slicing. It's on the heavy side compared to what Hylians are used to, but it's very strong.
Common Locations
Lanayru Great Spring
Hyrule Field
Properties
Atk 24

Lynel Swords are Weapons wielded solely by Red-Maned Lynels. Though most Lynels will increase in tier as Link defeats more enemies, the Lynel on Ploymus Mountain will always remain a Red-Maned Lynel. This makes it a permanent source of Lynel Swords and other low tier Lynel Gear. In Master Mode, though the Lynel on Ploymus Mountain remains the same, all other Lynels are tiered up to Blue-Maned Lynels. However, Blue-Maned Lynels will still use Lynel Swords until they disappear, meaning they aren't unobtainable.

Because they're made for smashing, Lynel Swords heavier than standard swords.[1] Lynel Swords can attract Lightning when equipped during a thunderstorm due to being made of metal. They can also be picked up using the Magnesis Rune on the Sheikah Slate.
