Lynel Spears are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Hyrule Compendium Entry
Lynel Spears are Weapons made and used by Lynels.[1] In Master Mode, however, Blue-Maned Lynels make use of Lynel Spears, since regular Lynels wielding Lynel Spears are not present. They belong to the Lynel Gear equipment archetype, a series of Weapons created by Lynels.[3] While their crescent shape makes them unbalanced and difficult for Hylians to use, Lynels are able to swing them efficiently.[1] They are most commonly found in the Gerudo Highlands and West Necluda, though they can only be obtained by defeating Lynels.
Being made of metal, Lynel Spears will attract Lightning if they are equipped during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. They will sink if they are dropped in Water, but they can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune on the Sheikah Slate. Finally, they are unable to burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.

Trivia[]
- Lynel Spears are one of several Permanently Missable Items in Breath of the Wild. Since Lynel Gear scales up with its wielders, Lynel Spears will stop appearing once regular Lynels disappear. The same thing happens in Master Mode when Blue-Maned Lynels tier up.
