Luminous Stones are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Luminous Stones can be found by breaking Luminous Stone Deposits, which can be identified by their glow during the night. They are also dropped by Stone Taluses (Luminous) upon their defeat. The Kochi Dye Shop can use Luminous Stones to make Navy Dye. Three of them are also required to buy one piece of the Radiant Set at the Gerudo Secret Club.

If Link speaks to Ledo at Zora's Domain, he will explain that he needs more Luminous Stones in order to continue his repairs.[3] He will ask Link to gather ten Luminous Stones for him, which will initiate the "Luminous Stone Gathering" Side Quest.[4] Upon delivery, Ledo will reward Link with two Diamonds. Afterwards, Link can bring him ten Luminous Stones at any time in exchange for one Diamond.[5][6]

The Radiant Set requires Luminous Stones the be upgraded to its first, second, third, and fourth tier at a Great Fairy Fountain.

  • Total for Radiant Set: 129 (5, 8, 10, 20) x3
