The Lookout Post is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1][note 1]

Features and Overview[]

The Lookout Post is a small post south of Gerudo Town in the Gerudo Desert. The Lookout Post is where the Gerudo soldier, Sudrey, monitors the Divine Beast Vah Naboris.[3] Naboris is always near the Post, walking around and kicking up a massive sandstorm. The Divine Beast cannot harm Link with its lightning attack while he is inside the Lookout Post. A ladder outside of the Lookout Post leads up to a small wooden platform. There is a bed inside the Lookout Post that Link can sleep on.

After Vah Naboris has been cleared of Thunderblight Ganon's influence, Sudrey will remain here to monitor the monsters that prowl the Gerudo Desert.[4]

A Treasure Chest containing a Golden Bow resides inside the Lookout Post.

Notes

  1. Lookout Post was referred to as the Observation Post in Creating a Champion. However, as this contradicts the name given in-game, it is not considered Canon.[2]
