The Korgu Chideh Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Korgu Chideh's Blessing,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.
Entrance to the Shrine[]
Korgu Chideh Shrine is located on top of Koholit Rock on Eventide Island, though it is initially buried beneath the ground. When Link first steps foot onto Eventide Island, he will hear the voice of the Monk, Korgu Chideh, who tells him he has relied on his equipment through his journey.[2] However, Korgu Chideh says Link will have to abandon his equipment,[3] and all of Link's Items will disappear from his Inventory.[4] In order to access the Ancient Shrine, Link must offer up the Ancient Orbs to the Pedestals on the Island.[5] This initiates the "Stranded on Eventide" Shrine Quest.
There are three Ancient Orbs in total on Eventide Island. One Ancient Orb can be found in the Monster Stronghold along the eastern edge of the Island. A second Orb is tied around the neck of the Blue Hinox sleeping at the base of Koholit Rock, requiring Link to either sneak it away or to defeat the Hinox. The third and final Ancient Orb is found on a platform in the Monster Stronghold on Koholit Rock.
Three Pedestals with Concave Slots can also be found around Eventide Island. One is located off the northern edge of Toronbo Beach, and Link must use Cryonis to bring an Ancient Orb to it. Another Pedestal is located within the Monster Stronghold on the southwestern part of the Island. Finally, the last Pedestal is found in the Monster Stronghold on Koholit Rock.
Once all three Ancient Orbs have been socketed, Korgu Chideh Shrine will emerge. Since the Trial is complete, Korgu Chideh will return all of Link's belongings.[6] The Monk then instructs Link to enter the Ancient Shrine.[7] As Link steps into the Shrine, he is greeted by Korgu Chideh, who informs him that he has already proven his worth.[8]

There is no Trial within Korgu Chideh Shrine, only a straight path to the Monk's Pedestal bearing Korgu Chideh. Along this path is a Treasure Chest containing a Gold Rupee. When Link approaches, Korgu Chideh will grant him a Spirit Orb for arriving at the Ancient Shrine.[9] The Monk then wishes Link well before fading away.[10]
