Hyrule Compendium Entry
Knight's Claymores are two-handed weapons that were wielded by the most confident Knights of Hyrule.[1] They are commonly found in Treasure Chests, but they may also be carried by Enemies in the Gerudo Desert and on the Tabantha Frontier.
When the following amiibos are scanned with the amiibo Rune, they have a chance to drop a Treasure Chest containing a Knight's Claymore:
- Super Smash Bros. Series Young Link amiibo
- Super Smash Bros. Series Ganondorf amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda series Series Link (Link's Awakening) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Link (Ocarina of Time) amiibo
Since they are made of metal, Knight's Claymores will conduct Electricity and attract Lightning if they are equipped during a Thunderstorm. They can also be picked up using the Sheikah Slate's Magnesis Rune, which is useful due to the fact that they will sink if they are dropped in Water. Finally, Knight's Claymores will not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
Knight's Claymores are part of the Knight's Gear equipment archetype.[3]
