In Ocarina of Time, this burly character is the owner of the Castle Town Bazaar, purveyor of shields and other goods. Apparently, he's a friend of the Death Mountain Trail Guard.[2] If Link purchases a shield from him and tells the Bazaar Owner he was referred by the guard, he'll give the young hero a discount.[3]
Majora's Mask
Swamp Tourist Center Guide
In Majora's Mask, the Swamp Tourist Center Guide runs the Swamp Tourist Center and accepts Link's entries for their Pictograph contest.[4] He is the father of Tingle and is apparently ashamed of his son's obsession with fairies, which he finds irreconcilable with his age.[5] If Link shows him a pictograph of either Tingle or the Deku King, the Swamp Tourist Center Guide will reward the young hero with a Piece of Heart.[6][7]
Swamp Shooting Gallery Manager
The man who runs the Swamp Shooting Gallery has the same model as the Swamp Tourist Center Manager. He speaks with a distinct Cockney accent and won't let Link play if he's wearing a mask.[8] He says that he's never met Kafei,[9] will offer his congratulations on the upcoming wedding if he sees the Couple's Mask,[10] compliment the beauty of the Great Fairy Mask,[11] and get frightened by the Captain's Hat.[12] He's also fooled by the Stone Mask.[13]

The manager of the Clock Town Shooting Gallery also uses the same model, and calls Link "sonny."[14] Like the manager of the Swamp Shooting Gallery, he won't let Link play if he's wearing a mask that interferes with his vision.[15] He can play while wearing the Bunny Hood and Postman's Hat, however. He doesn't have a unique reaction to many masks, but he will be startled by the Captain's Hat,[16] be fooled by the Stone Mask,[17] and report that Kafei hasn't been in to play if Link wears Kafei's Mask.[18]
As he did for many residents of Clock Town, the Skull Kid apparently caused some trouble for the Town Shooting Gallery Manager in the past, as evidenced by his reaction to Tatl if Link is in his Deku form.[19] He also seems to recognize Link in his Zora form, though he can't quite recall that he's thinking of The Indigo-Go's famous guitarist.[20] And though he can't play without a bow, the manager will compliment Goron Link on his build.[21]
