The Ketoh Wawai Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Ketoh Wawai's Blessing,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

Ketoh Wawai Shrine is located in the northeast corner of the Thyphlo Ruins. When Link first enters the Ruins, he will hear the voice of the Monk Ketoh Wawai telling him to come find the Ancient Shrine within the ruins, which are now covered in darkness.[2] This initiates the Shrine Quest "Shrouded Shrine".

From the western entrance to the Ruins, Link can find a Torch near a lit bird totem. By following the bird totems, Link will eventually come across a Blue Hinox with an Ancient Orb hanging around his neck. The Ancient Orb must be obtained so it can be placed in the nearby Stone Sphere Socket, which will unearth Ketoh Wawai Shrine.

As Link enters the Shrine, Ketoh Wawai will greet him, saying he's already proven himself by arriving.[3]

Themes and Navigation

Ketoh Wawai Shrine features one Treasure Chest and Ketoh Wawai. When Link approaches Ketoh Wawai, he will be gifted a Spirit Orb.[4] He wishes Link well before fading away.[5]

The Treasure Chest contains an Ancient Core.
