The Kara Kara Bazaar is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview[]

The Kara Kara Bazaar is a small oasis in the Gerudo Desert, found in the middle of the path to Gerudo Town. It is a resting stop while exploring the hot Gerudo Desert. Link is not hurt by Temperature while here. The Kara Kara Bazaar contains one Recovered Memory, one Main Quest, one Side Quest, three Treasure Chests, an Inn and three General Stores.

Vilia can be found at the Kara Kara Bazaar, where she serves a role in the "Forbidden City Entry" Main Quest. Vilia is a Hylian woman who dresses in traditional Gerudo clothes, which Link must obtain in order to sneak into Gerudo Town. Link must find Vilia by asking around at Kara Kara Bazaar about them. Ripp, a Gerudo soldier at the Bazaar, tells Link that she saw a Hylian woman at the Inn.[2] After Link asks around at the Inn, Shaillu tells him that there is a Hylian woman who likes to relax on the roof.[3] Vilia can be found atop the roof there, where she offers to sell a Gerudo Outfit to him for 600 Rupees.[4]

Link's seventh Recovered Memory, "Blades of the Yiga", can also be found at the Kara Kara Bazaar. During the Memory, Princess Zelda is attacked by several Yiga Clan members before Link jumps in to rescue her from them. The two Quests that can be found here are the Side Quest, "An Ice Guy", given by Guy and the Shrine Quest, "The Eye of the Sandstorm", given by Nobiro. A Hylian merchant named Robsten can be found at the Bazaar. Before Link calms Divine Beast Vah Naboris, a Goron named Strade sits near the small pool of water in the center of the Kara Kara Bazaar. In addition, Beedle, Kyra, and Lukan sometimes travel through the Bazaar.

During the "From the Ground Up" Side Quest, Hudson has Link search for a Gerudo tailor with "son" in their name. A Gerudo woman named Rhondson who meets these requirements is found at Kara Kara Bazaar, just outside of the Inn. Rhondson has been searching for love, but has not been successful.[5] Upon speaking to Rhondson, she comments that Akkala is far away, but admits that she needs to get away from a village full of other women.[6] She then thanks Link for the information and sets off for Tarrey Town.[7]

There is a Treasure Chest hidden in the water containing a Silver Rupee and a Treasure Chest buried in the ground behind the Inn containing a Purple Rupee. Link can befriend the Hylian Retriever here by feeding it four pieces of edible Material, causing it to lead Link to a Treasure Chest containing a Knight's Bow.
