Kalani is a character in Breath of the Wild.[2]
Biography
Kalani is a Gerudo child who lives in Gerudo Town. She and her sister, Makure, reside at the Arrow Specialty Shop that their grandmother Danda manages.
During the day, Kalani will stand in front of the Arrow Specialty Shop, where she encourages customers to buy from her grandmother.[3] Even as she sleeps, Kalani will attempt to attract customers.[4] She recommends each type of elemental Arrow, saying that Bomb Arrows go "BOOOOOM!!!", Shock Arrows go "BZZBZZT!!!", Ice Arrows go "CRAAAAACK!!!" and Fire Arrows go "BOOSH!!!".[5][6][7][8] If Link buys all of the Arrows at the Shop, Kalani asks if he is a good person, since her grandmother told her that people who spend a lot of Rupees are good people.[9]
While Kalani running around Gerudo Town, she tells Link that she does not have time to greet people and that the Rito, Frita, will be gone if she does not hurry.[10] If Link speaks to Kalani while she is staring at Frita, she comments about what a "big vure" she is.[11]
As the sun sets, Link can find Kalani and the other three children in Gerudo Town speaking to each other as a group.[12] After Link completes the "Divine Beast Vah Naboris" Main Quest, Dalia will be late joining the group. During this time, Kalani asks the others if they have heard what happened to her crops.[13] Makure comments that Dalia has not stopped crying.[14] Pearle declares she will never forgive the person who destroyed Dalia's crops.[15]
