"Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview[]
At Thyphlo Ruins, Link meets a Zonai Survey Team explorer named Kazul. He says that he has been investigating the ruins by himself ever since he discovered it. He has sent a message to the Survey Team for assistance but haven't heard back from them.[1] Link offers to help. Kazul accepts his assistance.
Kazul shows Link a stone tablet; the progress of his research. It read of some sort of riddle and Kazul seem to can't figure it out. When Link solves the riddle of the tablet, a hidden treasure in a chamber appeared nearby. After reporting his findings, Kazul thanks for his discovery. He is currently searching around for additional clues and will need time. So Link heads out to run around the world then comes back to see Kazul's further investigations. He brought in more tablets to solve, eventually bringing in all four tablets.
Once Link solved all the four tablets, another chamber appeared nearby.[2] Link heads to the extra chamber. In it is a treasure chest, containing the Dusk Claymore. The other is another tablet. Kazul caught up with Link, and sees the tablet out of curiosity. Upon reading together, he finds it to be a ruin dedicated to King Rauru and the Sages who fought in the Imprisoning War.[3] He became excited to see a memorial ruin dedicated to such heroes.
Kazul thanked Link for uncovering the mystery of the ruins. He gave Link a few Zonai trinkets and a Diamond. He will stay to continue studying the recent discovery before returning to base.
