Hinox Guts are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Location and Uses[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Hinox Guts are dropped by all three varieties of Hinox when defeated. As is the case with other Monster Parts, they can be cooked in a Cooking Pot with critters to make Elixirs.[1] They can also be used to make Yellow Dye at the Kochi Dye Shop or exchanged for Mon with Kilton at the Fang and Bone.
Two Armor sets require Hinox Guts in order to be upgraded at a Great Fairy Fountain. The Soldier's Set needs Hinox Guts and Lizalfos Tails to reach its third tier, while Hinox Guts and Smotherwing Butterflies are needed for the Fireproof Armor set to reach its fourth tier. Finally, the Fierce Deity Set needs two Hinox Guts for each piece to be upgraded to its third tier.
