Hebra Sky is a location in Tears of the Kingdom. It is the sky above Hebra in Hyrule.
Overview[]
The Hebra Sky has the largest group of Sky Islands in the entire game. There are total of 6 named island groups, as well as a few miscellaneous islands not belonging to any group. Many of the islands are in freezing environments, and the region also contains the Wind Temple, one of the dungeons in Tears of the Kingdom.
There are a total of 8 Shrines of Light, 3 Sage's Wills, and 3 Flux Constructs.
Rising Island Chain[]
For more info, see Rising Island Chain.
The Rising Island Chain is massive group of platforms and boats that start on Hebra Peak and lead up to the Wind Temple. They must be traversed in the Tulin of Rito Village Main Quest to reach above the massive cyclone that threatens the Hebra region. Fallen islands from the chain are scattered about Hebra Peak, and the island chain starts at the top of Hebra Peak. The islands are quite difficult to traverse without Tulin's Gust ability, and about 2/3s of the way up, a second layer of cold protection is required.
Small boats are found commonly in the chain, and they serve as trampolines that Link can bounce off of to gain height. The end of the chain is made up predominantly of boats, with little solid ground to stand, though the boats themselves can be landed on without triggering the bounce.
Two Shrines of Light can be found in the chain, each one roughly marking off a third of the length. The Mayaumekis Shrine, Downward Force, teaches how to use the boats for traversal; and the Kahatanaum Shrine, Rauru's Blessing.
A Flux Construct I can be found around halfway up the chain, with Old Map chest attached to it.
Wind Temple[]
For more info, see Wind Temple.
The Wind Temple, also known as the Stormwind Ark, is a massive, flying boat directly above Hebra Peak. It is the culmination of the Tulin Main Quest, and is where Tulin becomes the new Sage of Wind.
East Hebra Sky Archipelago[]
For more info, see East Hebra Sky Archipelago.
The East Hebra Sky Archipelago is a group of islands floating above the North Tabantha Snowfield. It can be directly accessed by the Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower.
The archipelago contains the Tanimoud Shrine, Rauru's Blessing, and the Shrine Quest The East Hebra Crystal in order to open it. Link must find a crystal connected to a beam at the shrine, and bring it to the shrine in order to summon the structure.
An ancient tablet island can be found at the east end of the archipelago. A Device Despenser is located on the same island as the Tanimoud Shrine, and holds Wings, Sleds, Fans, Carts, and Lights.
South Hebra Sky Archipelago[]
For more info, see South Hebra Sky Archipelago.
The South Hebra Sky Archipelago is a small, relatively low group of two islands connected by a single rail. The islands are located above Hebra Plunge. The south island contains materials that Link can use to build a way to traverse to the north island. The north island contains a Sage's Will in a chest.
West Hebra Sky Archipelago[]
For more info, see West Hebra Sky Archipelago.
The West Hebra Sky Archipelago is a group of islands located above Lake Kilsie and Biron Snowshelf. They can be directly accessed by the Rosporo Pass Skyview Tower.
The archipelago contains the Ijo-o Shrine, More than Defense. A Flux Construct I can be found on the island beneath it. A Device Dispenser sits on island with Ijo-o Shrine, and contains Rockets, Flame Emitters, Portable Pots, and Time Bombs.
A King Gleeok arena is located southwest of the main group of islands. It is at a much higher elevation than the rest of the islands, and a chest with a Sage's Will is the reward for defeating the King Gleeok.
North Tabantha Sky Archipelago[]
For more info, see North Tabantha Sky Archipelago.
The North Tabantha Sky Archipelago is a group of three islands located just south of Rito Village. The two southern ones are connected by a single rail, and the northern island has a broken rail. Zonai Devices are found on the southern two islands, allowing Link to traverse them, and obtain the Sage's Will on the north island.
Tabantha Sky Archipelago[]
For more info, see Tabantha Sky Archipelago.
The Tabantha Sky Archipelago is a group of islands located above Piper Ridge and Rayne Highlands.
The archipelago contains the Ganos Shrine, Rauru's Blessing, and the Shrine Quest to open it, The Tabantha Sky Crystal. Link must find a crystal connected to a beam at the shrine, and bring it to the shrine in order to summon the structure. The crystal here can be found attached to a Flux Construct II, on an island located north and below the island with the shrine. A Device Dispenser is located on the island with the shrine, containing Frost Emitters, Small Wheels, Wings, and Mirrors.
Far to the east of the main island group is Courage Island, a Dive Ceremony island above the Thundra Plateau. If Link can complete the trial once, he gains access to the Taunhiy Shrine, Combat Training: Archery. If Link can complete the trial within 35 seconds as the Steward Construct tells him to, Link will be rewarded with the Glide Shirt. A Device Dispenser is also located on the island containing Balloons, Fans, Time Bombs, and Portable Pots.
The main archipelago, not including Courage Island, is one of the few places outside of Wellspring Island that has low gravity.
Miscellaneous Islands[]
An ancient tablet island is located above the Sturdina Basin.
Lightcast Island[]
For more info, see Lightcast Island.
Lightcast Island is an island above Nero Hill. It contains a light-based puzzle using mirrors to open the way to the Ga-ahisas Shrine, Rauru's Blessing. There is a Device Dispenser floating close to the shrine that contains Balloons, Hover Stones, Springs, Wings, and Mirrors. The Zoanite Helm can be found here, above the final light panel needed to complete the puzzle.
It is one of the few places outside of Wellspring Island that has low gravity, perhaps due to being close to the Tabantha Sky Archipelago, which also has low gravity.
North Lomei Castle Top Floor[]
For more info, see North Lomei Castle Top Floor.
North Lomei Castle Top Floor is a labyrinth that floats direct above North Lomei Labyrinth. The place has little to no floor, instead being open below to allow updrafts to carry Link with the Paraglider. The place has low gravity to help with traversal.
The labyrinth can only be traversed when Link has activated the Zonai Terminal to the west of the main labyrinth during The North Lomei Prophecy Side Quest. Link must traverse the maze and find the four terminals hidden within. After doing this, the updraft carries Link to the top of the labyrinth, where a final terminal must be activated. Link is then instructed to head to North Lomei Depths Labyrinth by diving off of the labyrinth.
The Tenbez Shrine, Gravity and Velocity, is located next to the Zonai Terminal.
