The Hateno Ancient Tech Lab is a location in Breath of the Wild[citation needed]. It is north of Hateno Village and is owned by Sheikah researchers Symin and Purah.

Features and Overview

The Hateno Ancient Tech Lab is located on a hill just north of Hateno Village. It appears to be made of the same material of the houses in Hateno Village, but the residents are Sheikah, not Hylians. It is the main objective for the main quest "Locked Mementos"

When Link first sees the lab, it is on the map, but is not a quick travel point, like Myahm Agana Shrine. So, Link enters the shrine, where he is greeted by Purah. After which he is told to get a blue flame to power up the lab. Once Link gets the blue flame, the lab is made into a quick travel point, also, the guidance stone, allowing link to get the camera rune.

After Link talks to Purah about Robbie, Link can trade in any ancient materials to her. 3 Ancient screws can give him Sheikah Sensor +, 3 ancient shafts give him Remote Bombs +, and 3 Ancient Cores can give him Stasis +.

Link can read Purah's diary. However, if he reads her diary, she will pretend to take away his ancient runes.
