- "The Sheikah of ancient Hyrule developed this as a weapon to combat Ganon. This stationary model was used for defending important structures. Its offensive power is on par with other Guardians, and omitting the legs kept the manufacturing costs low."

Guardian Turrets are enemies in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are a type of Guardians found only in Hyrule Castle and behave identically to Decayed Guardians, only with more health and vertical range by deploying its head upwards. However as they are stationary enemies Link can avoid them by staying out of their line of sight.
Unlike Decayed Guardians, they were designed to be stationary units with legs being omitted by the ancient Sheikah specifically to keep manufacturing costs low. Before the Great Calamity, they were excavated and installed in Hyrule Castle as turrets to defend the castle but ended up being corrupted by Calamity Ganon who used them against the castle residents they were intended to protect. It is implied by Parcy that they became dormant after Princess Zelda sealed Ganon in Hyrule Castle only to become active with the other corrupted Guardians after Zelda's seal began to weaken and Ganon's power increased. Like all Guardians, they are vulnerable to Guardian Scout weaponry and Robbie's anti-Calamity armaments. Their beams can be deflected with a well-timed Perfect Guard though they require more reflected hits to destroy than Decayed Guardians. Ancient Shields can auto-reflect their beams with standard guarding though doing so reduces the Ancient Shield's durability. The Hylian Shield can withstand twenty seven shots from a Guardian Turret before breaking though can only reflect their beams with a Perfect Guard.
