Hyrule Compendium Entry
Guardian Swords are sometimes wielded by Guardian Scouts II and, in Master Mode, by Guardian Scouts III, which can be found in "A Minor Test of Strength" Ancient Shrines. The Swords can be retrieved when the Scouts drop them after being defeated. Guardian Swords use Ancient Technology to produce their blue energy blade, though they're not very durable.[1]
Due to their composition, Guardian Swords will float if they're dropped in water. They deal additional damage to Guardian-type enemies, and they're unable to burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
