Guardian Spears++ are Weapons used by Guardian Scouts IV within "A Major Test of Strength" Ancient Shrines. The Breath of the Wild Series Guardian amiibo also has a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a Guardian Spear++ when they are scanned with the amiibo Rune. They are Guardian Spears that have had their output increased to the maximum.[1] The design of the spearheads allow for optimal stabbing, and they are capable of piercing most armor.[1]
Being made from Ancient Technology, Guardian Spears++ will deal extra damage when they are used to fight Guardian-type Enemies. They will not attract Lightning during Thunderstorms or conduct Electricity, nor can they burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. While they cannot be picked up with the Magnesis Rune, they will float if they are dropped in Water.
Guardian Spears++ belong to the equipment archetype known as Guardian Gear, which includes all Weapons that are utilized by Guardian Scouts.[3]
