The Guardian Scout III is the third variation of the Guardian Scout. They're found inside "A Moderate Test of Strength" Ancient Shrines, which require Link to defeat them in order to complete the shrine. They differ from Model IIs because they have small projections on either side of their head, slightly angled up. The projections look like those on a Guardian Stalker.

Unlike the Guardian Scout II, the Guardian Scout III has the ability to dual-wield weapons, which can be any combination of a Guardian Sword+, Guardian Spear+, Guardian Shield+, and Ancient Battle Axe+.^[2]

Attack patterns are as follows from its left taking priority, then if Link was not hit successfully, its right side:

Short sword: Upward windup and downwards swing
Heavy weapon: Small rotating windup and two huge swings
Spear: Small twisting windup and harsh stab
If no offensive weapon in either right or left hand (a rare occurence): Fires lasers rapidly
Can block attacks with shield but does not drop if guard is broken
