Guardian Scouts are Enemies in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity^{[name reference needed]}.

Characteristics

Guardian Scouts are smaller variants of Guardian Stalkers that can be found within Ancient Shrines and Divine Beasts. They come in four different forms. Depending on the form, these can be equipped with different weapons of the Guardian Gear equipment archetype. They can also use their laser to repeatedly burn the ground surrounding them, sending Link back if struck. However, this creates an updraft that allows Link to use the Paraglider to reach them. Additionally, when near death, they will charge a stronger laser attack that cannot be interrupted. Guardian Scouts are susceptible to elemental attacks, becoming stunned when electrified, catching on fire when exposed to it and freezing entirely when attacked with ice.

Guardian Scout I

The weakest form of Guardian Scouts, the Guardian Scout I walks around and fires lasers, and does not carry any Weapons. They can be found in Ancient Shrines and Divine Beasts.

Guardian Scout II

The Guardian Scout II fires lasers and carries one Guardian Weapon. They can be found in Minor Test of Strength Ancient Shrines and Divine Beasts. A unique, translucent blue Guardian Scout II appears in the Ta'loh Naeg Shrine.

Guardian Scout III
